Domestic Abuse Basic Awareness Training

We offer free online Domestic Abuse Basic Awareness Training. This training is available to all. 

The training focuses on supporting you to identify the signs and symptoms of domestic abuse, including coercive control, respond sensitively to support disclosures of domestic abuse from victims and survivors, and signpost effectively to appropriate support services. 

When completing this training you should be aware of your own well-being. If you are upset by anything in this training, you should seek support.

Additional Training for Professionals

We also offer Level 2 Domestic Abuse Training for professionals who work in the domestic abuse field. Information about this training can be found on www.wirralsafeguarding.co.uk. This training is face-to-face and takes place over one day.

Training is delivered through Wirral Safeguarding Children Partnership. 

Wirral Safeguarding Children Board's (Partnership) website brings together a range of safeguarding information, news and resources for Wirral’s children, young people, parents and carers and professionals into one place. This allows professionals to access the latest safeguarding news and the policies, procedures and guidance for safeguarding practice across the children’s workforce. Professionals can access and book a wide range of safeguarding training from the site as well as keep up with the latest safeguarding news.
